Refund policy

Everything we sell is a digital file (PDF and ePub) that you download straight away. Because you receive the full product the moment you pay, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Here is exactly why, and the rights you keep regardless.

Why we don't refund for change of mind

A digital file cannot be handed back. Once it has been delivered and downloaded, you keep it whether or not we refund you, so a change-of-mind refund would mean giving the product away for free. For a one-person studio selling low-priced files, that is not something we can sustain.

The law allows this for instant digital content. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (Regulation 37), digital content supplied immediately, with the buyer's express consent, is not covered by the usual 14-day cancellation right. Before you pay, you tick a box confirming you want the files delivered immediately and that you understand you are giving up that 14-day right. We log that consent against your order.

Your legal rights are unaffected

None of the above removes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your files must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to a fix or a refund, and we will give you one. Specifically:

If the file is faulty, corrupted, or won't download, or is genuinely not as described, email us and we will resend a working copy or refund you in full. This is your legal right and we honour it without argument.

Wrong email, or bought twice by accident

These are not refunds, they are fixes. If you entered the wrong email, we will resend the files to the right address at no charge. If you accidentally paid twice for the same item, we will refund the duplicate in full. Just email us with your order ID.

Chargebacks

If something is wrong, please email us first. We would much rather sort it out directly than have you raise a PayPal dispute, which is slow for you and costly for us. We answer quickly and we are reasonable.

Reply to your receipt email, or write to hello@anomalymellow.com with your order ID (printed on your receipt). One human reads these, and you will get a reply within a working day.
